Beatsource ( Urban Music Downloads ) was a brand new way for Hip Hop DJs to acquire their music. No other online retailer catered to Hip Hop DJs. This advertisement ran all throughout hip hop’s biggest magazines like “XXL”, “Vibe”, and “The Source” to show that Beatsource had arrived and would play an integral part in its’ evolution. I did all illustrations by hand in Illustrator and assembled everything in Photoshop, then built the layout ( not shown here ) around the finished illustration.
